Hello all, sorry about the late post...its about a week late, or thereabouts. Anyway, what I did for Day 02 was the basic Planet Fitness circuit workout along with a mile jog, nothing exciting. I still need to find a step by step plan that I can memorize and easily do. I have seen some but they all use things I've never heard of, so I need to first learn the exercises then learn the order....sounds like a load of fun...not.
I also need to get on a somewhat healthy diet which is hard to do as I have no money to go out and buy things. But I make do with what I have.
I'm glad that I'm going to the gym again and working out. It's a good stress reliever.
In other news, I am getting hearing aids...(for those of you that didn't know.) This is a good thing, even though I feel like I am an older person. I don't have total hearing loss, just loss in the area of higher pitches, people that are soft spoken, and I can't hear anyone in a crowded area like a restaurant, etc. So, if I keep saying what, or giving you weird looks, I'm not trying to be a jerk or snarky...I legit can't hear.
That's all for now.
See ya!

Day 01: My Legs!!
Welcome back my awesome followers,
I just completed my Day 01 training which was a two mile run. Today I just did my run at the gym because I didn't have an idea of where I wanted to do my run...I have an idea now though, which can be seen below.

I was throughly surprised with my results. I was supposed to do 2 miles in 20:00 minutes. I completed it in 17:46. SO I was quite happy. I will say that my muscles were not happy with the sudden change in use, haha. But oh well, they will get over it. Tomorow starts the upper body work. *gulp* hopefully, it will go just as good as today's work did...but I have my doubts. Well, Im going to rest my aching body.
Till Tomorrow!
Brad

Day 00
Hello one and all,
This blog is to log and journal my training, and eventual trip to Tough Mudder, Boston in May of '13. My vision is to log what I do and how often I do each workout, (my reps, exercises, etc.) I also want to share the knowledge about what I have learned about the event, how I can better prepare, what to do, what not to do, etc. So anyway, today is the prelude day, the calm before the storm so to speak. I'm really excited to do this, because I have been wanting to start working out, but never had a reason to other than to look and feel good. But now I have a reason!! So,
WHAT IS TOUGH MUDDER?!...Well my friends...THIS is Tough Mudder.
Pretty Awesome? I think so. Also, it is a supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project, which helps those in the military hurt in the line of duty. But that is the event, what is the training like? Well, I'll show you.
Anyway, Tomorrow is my first day, which is going to be a Run Day, I believe the goal is 2 miles in 20 minutes or less. That shouldn't be too bad, but then again, im not in the best of shape.
The other and Final reason for this blog is for support. I have 8 months to get ready for this thing and I'll need all the support I can get. Well, that's all for now.
This is Brad signing off till next time!!
Ciao
